Scythia is a next-generation consumer products platform built by acquiring private-label e-commerce brands who are mainly selling stable, non-seasonal products.

The objective of the business is to acquire businesses/ products which sell on the Amazon marketplace and other e-commerce platforms and aggregate these businesses into a consumer products platform.

Our focus is on businesses with stable, non-seasonal revenues, without fad-like demand drivers. Our acceleration programmes can unlock growth through a combination of product management, performance marketing or supply chain expertise and other business functions.

Scythia supports the acquired businesses’ further evolution by hiring best-in-class talent to focus on areas where the founders were unable to, frequently due to constraints in working capital, time, knowledge or process development.

Our goal is to create a virtuous cycle of scale, enabling greater central marketing and brand management expertise, which drives organic growth of acquired product ranges, which in turn enables Scythia to build an ever-stronger brand and marketing management engine at the core. Position Summary:

As a Digital Marketing Manager at Scythia, you will be responsible for driving our digital marketing efforts to accelerate growth and profitability. You will leverage your expertise in working with D2C brands during the critical growth phase from £1 million to £10 million in revenue, creating and implementing effective strategies to achieve our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies tailored to our D2C and Marketplace/Amazon model, driving traffic, conversions, AOV and customer retention/repeat rate and ultimately revenue growth.

Performance Marketing: Manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns (e.g. PPC, pMAX, display, social media ads) to maximise ROI and customer acquisition.

Ecommerce Optimisation: Enhance user experience, optimise conversion funnels, and increase online sales on all our channels such as Shopify (D2C), Amazon and Etsy.

Content Strategy: Oversee content creation, including blog posts, social media content, email marketing campaigns, and more, ensuring brand consistency and engagement.

SEO & SEM: Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and manage SEM campaigns effectively.

Email Marketing: Develop and execute email marketing strategies on Klaviyo, including segmentation, automation, and A/B testing, to drive customer retention and sales.

Analytics & Reporting: Working with the data and finance team, monitor KPIs, analyse data, and prepare regular reports to assess campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.

Budget Management: Manage digital marketing budgets effectively, allocating resources to maximise ROI and meet revenue targets.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on D2C ecommerce brands.
  • Ideally a track record of successfully growing revenue from £1 million to £10 million for an ecommerce brand.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, SEO tools).
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for staying updated on industry trends.
